This summer has been extremely busy. Our team was fortunate enough to win one of twelve places to work with the innovation team at the Alzheimer’s Society. Their Launchpad is just that… they take your idea and support you to develop it, test it, cost it, break it and mend it again (!) before pitching it to a panel of investors, in such a way that you really learn more about what it is that you are trying to do. The innovation team is supported by a consultancy called Good Innovation and boy are they good! We learned so much and are now in the process of applying for their Accelerator funding to develop our prototype and get our innovation into the hands of carers.
